A Massive Upgrade, 0.4 Update is here!
This Version just unmuted the game, and that is not all it brings!
I decided to not let the previous version be the showcase patch, since it lacked a lot of stuff needed in a good game. Mostly SFX and VFX which where absent before. With this i will start the payed early access (New Versions will be paid for until a next new update rolls out). The game was worked on and tested for quite a long time to deliver the best experience to you and all the other players. Some decisions i made could be rolled back, but i need feedback to know what the players want (Which i dont get right now), so just know that players vote does matter in PND Productions. Lets head to the changes made, but be warned, the list is quite long (althought most of it are balance changes)
Changes:
- Entirely reworked UF Menu with new upgrades and smoother progresion!
- The game now have simple Visual and Sound effects
All in 8-bit theme ofc
- Default Rotation is now upwards, instead of to the right
Placing towers should be much more pleasant with that change
- Added Wave Money Ratio
I thought that the inflation that this game suffered from was caused by the Interest mechanic, so i nerfed it quite a lot, but it turned out that the real cause was the gold you get for damage later in rounds. So i decided to add a new mechanic which lowers the gold from damage per 10 waves.
- Save Directiory is now (UserDir/Project New Dawn Productions/PND Tower Defence)
Just in case you want to delete your save
- Gold, HP and Damage now has a decimal point
This change is mostly to show that some things do in fact work by showing more accurate numbers. Not as important, just a UX stuff
Balance Changes:
Turret:
- 0-1 Price Decreased (280 > 240)
- 0-2 Price Decreased (660 > 460)
- 2-0 Damage Nerfed (3 > 1)
- 2-0 Price Decreased (700 > 440)
- 3-0 Damage Nerfed (10 > 5)
- 3-0 Price Decreased (3000)
- 0-3 Buffed Damage (35 > 37)
- 4-0 Damage Nerfed (35 > 27)
- 4-0 Price Increased (7400 > 8400)
- 0-4 Buffed Damage (160 > 210)
- 0-4 AS Buffed (+3 > +2)
- 0-4 Price Decreased (7000 > 6900)
Rocket:
- Base range decreased (140 > 120)
- 1-0 Nerfed Damage (5 > 2)
- 1-0 Nerfed AS (-0.3 > -0.2)
- 1-0 Prices Decreased (400 > 300)
- 0-1 Aoe size Decreased (20 > 10)
- 2-0 Nerfed Damage (10 > 3)
- 2-0 Nerfed AS (-0.7 > -0.3)
- 2-0 Price Decreased (800 > 600)
- 0-2 Aoe size Decreased (30 > 20)
- 3-0 Nerfed Damage (20 > 10)
- 3-0 Price Increased (1600 > 2600)
- 0-3 Aoe size Decreased (50 > 40)
- 0-3 Damge Nerfed (130 > 120)
- 0-3 Range Decreased (200 > 180)
- 4-0 Damage Nerfed (60 > 40)
- 4-0 Price decreased (9500 > 8500)
- 0-4 Damage Nerfed (1850 > 1650)
Roadblock:
- 0-4 Slow Time Increased (6 > 10)
- 0-4 Added Slow Amount (0 > 10%)
- 0-4 % Damage Nerfed (10% > 5%)
- 4-0 % Damage Nerfed (3% > 1%)
Enemies:
There are a lot of changes here, so i will just sum it up.
- Adjusted UF Gain per kill, Health and Speed for all tanks
Other:
- Interest % is back to 5%
- Increased Money gain on Easy
- Decreased Price Mod on Easy
- Increased Money Gain on Normal
- Decreased UF Multi for all modes
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed placing units on Water
- Fixed Debug window and Shop not closing when placing towers
